The Retrofit Rebate Program offers two options for a PNM business customer:

1) Pre-Set Menu

A pre-set menu of rebates for installing qualifying equipment in new and existing buildings includes:

  • Linear fluorescent retrofits 
  • New T8 and T5 fixtures
  • New HID fixtures
  • LED Exit signs
  • Occupancy controls

  • Premium efficiency AC systems
  • Premium efficiency air source heat pumps
  • High efficiency water and air cooled chillers
  • Variable speed drives
  • Window film
    
    
• Refrigeration and Other Equipment
  
  
  • High efficiency ice machines
  • High efficiency vending machines
  • Strip curtains for walk-ins
  • Night covers for refrigerated display cases
  • Anti-sweat heater controls
  • Automatic door closers for walk-in freezers
  • High efficiency evaporator fan motors
  • Evaporator fan motor controls
  • Vending machine controls
  • Plug load controls
    
    
• Premium Efficiency Motors

2. Custom Rebates

You can also apply for a custom rebate to reduce energy use with a system improvement that is not included on the pre-set menu. 

Custom rebates are calculated using $0.06 per estimated first year kilowatt hour (kWh) saved.
